Wallyo is a wallet for gift cards, store credit, store cash, and claim codes you already own. It is on the App Store. Android is on the way. Card numbers stay in encrypted storage on the phone. A sealed account copy can restore the vault after sign-in; we cannot open that copy.

Lost store-cash and claim codes
Receipt slips, email claim codes, and store cash are easy to lose. Photograph or type the number in so it is on the phone at checkout. Wallyo cannot recover funds a retailer will not honor.
Families who share a card
Share in person so a spouse or kid can carry the same card. A spend on either phone updates the shared balance. Send is the hand-off. The card leaves this vault.

Who is Wallyo for?
Anyone who already owns retailer gift cards, store credit, store cash, or claim codes and wants them in one place at checkout. Wallyo is not a marketplace and not a bank. It does not sell cards or move money.
Can it help if I am trying to spend less?
Yes. Record what you already have, see what is about to expire, and get a nudge at a store you have a card for so you spend that balance first instead of reaching for a debit card.
What about gift cards sitting unused?
Photograph or scan the plastic, or paste an e-gift email. Wallyo keeps the retailer, balance, and barcode so the card is not stuck in a drawer when you need it.
I got store credit from a return. Does that belong here?
Yes. A return card or store-credit slip is the same kind of closed-loop value. Add it like any other card and show the code at that merchant.
I lost a store-cash or claim code on a receipt. Can Wallyo get the money back?
No. Wallyo cannot recover funds from a retailer. If you still have the receipt, email, or a photo of the code, you can store that number so it is not lost again.
Can the family all carry the same card?
Yes, with Share. Both people sign in, stand together, and scan a Ready code. Each phone can show the barcode at the register. This is not sending a file, a text, or AirDrop.
Do balances stay in sync after we share?
Yes. Anyone who holds the card can update the balance after a spend. That figure syncs to the other phones. It updates live while the app is open, or the next time they open Wallyo if they were offline. Sharing does not split the money in two. It is still one card.
What is the difference between Share and Send?
Share keeps the card in both vaults. Send moves it. The card leaves yours and lives in theirs. Both are in person, not email or AirDrop. A .wallyo file is an encrypted backup, not family share.
Where are my card numbers actually stored?
In an encrypted store on your own device. Card numbers, PINs, and barcodes are not stored as readable text on our servers. While you are signed in, a sealed copy of the vault can sit on your account so a reinstall can restore it. We cannot open that copy.
Does Wallyo work without a signal?
Yes. Because your cards live on the device, the wallet opens and shows a scannable code with no connection at all. That works in basements, car parks, and busy shopping centres.
Can Wallyo check my balances for me?
Today you record each balance as you spend, and Wallyo tracks the running total and nudges you before a card expires. When automatic checks arrive, they will run on your phone using details that never leave it. We would see the balance that comes back. We would not see the card.
What happens if I change phones?
Sign in on the new phone to restore the sealed vault. Cards appear first, so the list is usable before photographs decrypt. Photographs stay encrypted until you open them on a card, or finish restoring photos in Settings. You can also move a passphrase-sealed .wallyo file in person. We cannot read either copy.
How do I install Wallyo?
Download it from the App Store on iPhone. The app is free. Open it and add the cards you already own. Sign in if you want a sealed copy of the vault on your account, so a later reinstall can bring the cards back. Android is on the way.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Uninstalling removes Wallyo and the cards stored on that phone. It does not close your account, and it does not change the balance at the retailer. If you were signed in, install the app again and sign in to restore the sealed vault. Set a recovery passphrase in Settings or save a .wallyo backup before you uninstall, so the new install can unlock that copy. To close the account itself, tap Delete account in Settings. That is separate from uninstalling the app.
